About Me

Hello! My name is Jims.

I am a year 3 student pursuing a diploma in Apparel Design and Merchandising at Temasek Polytechnic. 

It's been a wild ride, but I'm loving every moment of it.

Through my studies, I've mastered skills like draping, drafting, garment construction, and fashion presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I've also learned production drawings where we learnt how to make spec and cost sheets, to bring designs to life. My ultimate aspiration is to become someone's stylist, to weave stories through clothings and to make individuals feel confident in their skin. While I do adore conceptualizing ideas, I also relish the process of execution, finding it equally rewarding.

There's a unique joy in seeing a mere concept transform into a tangible creation, each step of the journey filled with its own set of challenges and triumphs. From the initial spark of inspiration to the meticulous planning and hands-on work, I find fulfillment in every aspect of bringing a design to life. It's not just about envisioning the final product; it's about the journey of exploration, problem-solving, and self-discovery that accompanies it. This holistic approach to design fuels my passion and drives me to constantly push the boundaries of my creativity.
